Episode 19

Brumbies stay unbeaten, Waratahs' season slips, Drua come close - SRP Round 4

Welcome to Season 4 Episode 19 of the Pick & Drive Rugby Podcast!

We are the People’s Podcast, providing a platform for rugby lovers to come together and support the game that’s played in heaven.

What a week of rugby it has been, with the mighty Brumbies continuing their unbeaten run with an entertaining match against Moana Pasifika. The Waratahs slide to a second successive defeat against the Hurricanes, while the Fijian Drua came close to reigning in the Reds.

Most importantly: Chat GPT can write poetry about rugby?

Mitchell Foster

Mitch is rugby obsessed! If he's not watching the game they play in heaven, he's coaching it, reffing it or analysing it for a future episode!

Mitch is a product of Sydney's north shore, having played rugby for a number of prominent junior and senior clubs over the years. His highlight to this day was packing down against both Michael and Allan Alaalatoa in colts for the mighty Gordon Highlanders (Up the Stags!).

Outside of rugby Mitch is a Disability Support Manager and enjoys readings books, watching movies and playing video games.

I'm a regular guy who wanted an Australian rugby podcast that was both insightful AND family friendly. It turns out this is harder to find than you'd think. I called my mate Mitch, asked him if he wanted to chat rugby on a weekly basis. He said YES!

That's how Pick and Drive Rugby was born.

About me: I'm a 30-something guy married with two rowdy boys. I teach History and spend my time reliving the glory days of the Waratahs 2014 Super Rugby triumph.
